Our Story
1616 Holdings® Notebook was founded in 2022 by a group of stationery enthusiasts who shared a passion for journaling, note-taking, and artistic expression. After months of research and development, we officially launched 1616 Holdings® Notebook with a line of recycled paper notebooks featuring nature-inspired designs. We partnered with paper manufacturers that use agricultural waste and responsibly-managed forests to produce paper with a low carbon footprint. This allows us to provide you with guilt-free products you can feel good about using.
Over the years, we’ve expanded our catalog to include trendy patterned notebooks, metallic foil journals, motivational planners, and more – all crafted with sustainability in mind. We’ve also built partnerships with independent artists to feature their designs on our notebook covers. Noah Sanders – Our resident stationery expert, Noah researches the latest trends and sources unique paper products from ethical vendors around the world.
